2024 Mississippi Governor's Arts Awards - Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation to Earl Poole Ball

THE SIGNIFICANCE

Since 1988, the Mississippi Arts Commission has proudly partnered with the governor's office to present the Governor's Arts Awards, given annually in recognition of those who have made significant, and lasting contributions to the arts in Mississippi.  We honored the extraordinary creative achievement of the 2024 recipients whilst also celebrating the outsized impact of art (and artists) on the expansion of our cultural horizons, and the enrichment of our communities.
